Samantha is a native of Long Island, where she grew up performing the songs of Harold Hill on her living room couch. She enjoyed being active in music and arts throughout grade school, playing the clarinet in wind ensembles and all-county orchestras, singing duets with her sister at temple, and performing in her high school's theater productions.
She realized that performing was her dream (and a very lucrative one) when her Uncle Lindsay gave her $5 for singing "Till There Was You."
Samantha was accepted into NYU Steinhardt where she earned her BM in Vocal Performance and performed one of her dream roles, Rose Maurrant, in Street Scene. She continued her studies in Vocal Performance at Manhattan School of Music, and graduated in May 2015 with a Master of Music. She studied voice under the tutelage of famed Met tenor, Neil Rosenshein, and performed with the American Musical Theater Ensemble as Anne in A Little Night Music.
She recently starred in West Side Story as Maria at New Bedford Festival Theatre in New Bedford, M.A., and played Luisa in The Fantasticks in Bethlehem, Connecticut with Clay & Wattles Theatre Company.
She received critical acclaim for her performance as Maria in West Side Story at the John W. Engeman Theatre in Northport, N.Y.
